Optimizing Everpulp® LF on 1% Everpulp® Red 5BL dyeing
Solution for improving light fastness of Everulp Red 5BL
During the manufacturing of specialty papers and high-end packaging paper, the light fastness of red dyes often faces severe challenges. When virgin pulp is dyed with Everpulp Red 5BL, the light fastness rating is approximately Grade 3 (based on the ISO 105-B02 standard). To meet the high-specification demands of paper products, Everlight Chemical provides an optimized combination solution for Everpulp Red 5BL and Everpulp LF. Based on fastness requirements, recommendations for Everpulp LF dosage, resin dosage, and impregnation time can be tailored to balance both fastness performance and cost-effectiveness.
Characteristics
(1) Fastness Enhancement: After treatment with the impregnation system, lightfastness is increased from Grade 3 to Grade 6-7, effectively slowing down the rate of paper fading in light-exposed environments.
(2) High Process Flexibility: Resin concentration and additive ratios can be flexibly adjusted based on the customer’s target fastness levels and production line speed (impregnation time), balancing production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
